Lynda Shioya, a 3rd generation Canadian of Chinese descent, speaks to Eileen Park Robertson about identity, race, and healing as a country. This short film highlights Lynda’s trailblazing career as an educator and dancer, her thoughts on Asian identity and being an ally to marginalized communities.
Director Bio: Eileen Park Robertson is the founder/filmmaker of Anecdotia, a production agency focused exclusively on racial, social, and climate justice storytelling. Most recently, she ran communications at the Office of the Mayor of Portland as Director of Communications, after more than a decade working as a reporter in the United States, South Korea, and around the world.
