Description
A Dwarf’s Hideout is about the Akimoto family and their quaint Japanese restaurant in the heart of French Manitoba, St. Boniface. They talk about Winnipeg, what life is like in the frozen city, and why, out of all the places in the world, they chose to raise their family there.

Director's Bio
Alan Wong is the son of Chinese immigrants with a nomadic upbringing, crisscrossing the country in search of prosperity and belonging. He currently resides in Winnipeg, where his love of film has inspired a return to studies as he takes his creative experience in new directions.
