Description
Everyone is happy for rising actor GQ – everyone except GQ himself. Heʼs stuck playing an offensive stereotype on a television sitcom, and the day he decides to speak up for himself on set, the executive producer fires him. Struggling to pick up the pieces, he starts dating A-list casting director RACHEL. Love and work become intertwined.

Director's Bio
Steven J. Kung is a Taiwanese American writer/director making his directoral debut with A Leading Man. Previously, he worked as the assistant to Matthew Weiner on Mad Men. He holds an M.F.A. from the University of Southern California School for Cinematic Arts and a B.A. with High Distinction in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
