Kim Guise is the Head of Local Content at TELUS and the Executive in Charge of Production for TELUS Original Programming and STORYHIVE, overseeing a multi-million dollar portfolio supporting BC and Alberta filmmakers and cultural organizations. Kim is the recipient of the 2018 Women in Film and Television Vancouver Bron Iris award, which is given to a person who has demonstrated a commitment to the promotion of women creators and their screen-based work.
Regional Feature Film Executive – Telefilm Canada
As Telefilm Canada’s Regional Feature Film Executive for the Western Region, Lauren Davis is responsible for supporting emerging talent through production and post-production investments in lower-
budget feature films. Lauren joined Telefilm in 1998 after having worked as an independent producer. Over the last 15 years, she has held a number of management positions within the television, feature film and business-process management teams.

Patrice Ramsay is the Coordinator of Independent Production for British Columbia’s public broadcaster, Knowledge Network. As a member of the programming team she helps bring Knowledge commissions such as Emergency Room: Life and Death at VGH, Shut Up and Say Something, This Mountain Life, and Haida Modern to our Knowledge audience. She holds a degree in Business Administration and has received The Osgoode Certificate in Entertainment Law from York University.
