Description

Canadian Premiere. Caridad Amaran and Georgina Wong learned the art of Cantonese opera in Havana during WWII and toured Cuba to perform. In the eighties, the two sisters are trying to perform Cantonese opera in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Will they find a stage?


Director's Bio

Louisa studied film in Canada and moved to HK after receiving her PhD. She began making documentary from 2003, and her features include Storm under the Sun (2009) and Golden Gate Girls (2014).
